A Day of Belonging at the Cordova Skating Center in Memphis, TN

Every child deserves to be seen, known, and experience belonging.

That's why communities across Tennessee are opening doors for children in foster care through the I Belong Project®. It's more than a fun day, it's an opportunity for children to share who they are while communities come together to help more families say yes to adoption.

Earlier this year, children and teens experiencing foster care from across West Tennessee gathered at Cordova Skating Center in Memphis for a day filled with fun, encouragement, and opportunities to share their stories.

A Day of Belonging at the Tennessee Aquarium: Meet the Kids

Earlier this year, through the I Belong Project®, kids spent the day exploring one of Tennessee's most incredible places—the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. Between colorful fish, turtles, even a skunk, and unforgettable moments together, the day was filled with joy, laughter, and opportunities for every child to simply be a kid.

A Day of Belonging at Bridgestone Arena: Meet the Kids

Thanks to the incredible partnership of the Nashville Predators Foundation and a community of generous businesses, faith communities, and volunteers, children in foster care waiting for adoptive families were invited to Bridgestone Arena for a special day filled with fun, connection, encouragement, and the opportunity to share their stories through professional videos and photography.

A Day of Belonging at The Orchard Church: Meet the Kids

The I Belong Project™ exists to help children in foster care find permanency, connection, and belonging. These filming days are about more than capturing photos and videos—they are about creating moments where kids get to simply be kids. Moments where they are celebrated. Moments where their voices matter.

A Day of Belonging at the Nashville Zoo

The I Belong Project™ exists to help kids in foster care find permanency, connection, and belonging. Days like this don’t just produce beautiful photos and videos - they create memories, inspire hope, and invite families across Tennessee to say “yes” to foster care and adoption.

Giving Tuesday – Support the I Belong Project™

Due to an unprecedented need, we will film 50 more children than expected this year... including 24 kids next week! This increase reflects both the proven success of the I Belong Project™ videos (they work — kids are finding families!) and, heartbreakingly, the high number of children in foster care who are still waiting for adoptive families. Support this work on Giving Tuesday.

I Belong Project™ – Collierville First Baptist

Earlier this year the I Belong Project™ traveled to Memphis, TN for a powerful, hope-filled day we won’t soon forget. What unfolded was more than a film shoot — it was a day filled with belonging, dignity, and possibility. Meet 16 kids in need of adoption.

A Perfect Match: The I Belong Project™ at GEODIS Park

Earlier this year, Tennessee Kids Belong had the incredible opportunity to host an I Belong Project™ video shoot at GEODIS Park, home of the Nashville Soccer Club - and what a day it was! From the moment the kids arrived, they were welcomed like VIPs, surrounded by encouragement, laughter, and community.

A Wild Time at the Knoxville Zoo

This summer, Tennessee Kids Belong brought the I Belong Project™ to the Knoxville Zoo, and let’s just say—it was a wildly good time.
The zoo offered a playful and welcoming space for kids to just be kids. Laughter, wide-eyed wonder, and a few unique animal encounters filled the day.
