Long Hollow Church recently opened its doors for an I Belong Project® filming day in Middle Tennessee, welcoming children, volunteers, creatives, Faith Communities, businesses and community partners for a day designed to help kids feel seen, celebrated and cared for.
From the moment each child arrived, there were people ready to make the day special. Kids could grab a backpack embroidered just for them, choose new clothes and gifts, spend time with therapy dogs, paint, play sports, step into a photo booth, and visit a beauty and relaxation bar.
Every detail helped create an environment where kids could relax, have fun and simply be themselves.
More Than a Photo and Video Shoot
The I Belong Project® gives youth in foster care who are legally free for adoption an opportunity to share who they are through professional photos and videos.
Instead of being defined by a case file, each child gets to talk about the things they love, the dreams they have, what makes them laugh and what they hope for in a family.
Meet the Kids
We are excited to introduce you to the incredible kids who joined us at Long Hollow.
Click on each child’s image below to watch their I Belong Project® video, learn more about who they are and find information about their adoption needs.
As you meet them, there are three simple ways you can help:
WATCH their stories.
SHARE their videos and help more people see them.
INQUIRE if you believe your family may be a potential fit for a child.
Sometimes one share is all it takes for a child’s story to reach the right person.

It Takes a Community
Days like this are possible because people across the community choose to use what they already have to create something meaningful for children impacted by foster care.
We are incredibly grateful to every partner who helped make our Long Hollow I Belong Project® day possible:

To every person who served, donated, created, welcomed, photographed, filmed, cooked, decorated, encouraged and helped make this experience possible, thank you.
You helped create more than a great day. You helped give children an opportunity to be known for who they are and helped their stories reach families who may be able to change their futures.
