A Day of Belonging at The Orchard Church: Meet the Kids

Recently, Tennessee Kids Belong hosted an I Belong Project™ filming day at The Orchard Church in Memphis, creating space for an unforgettable day filled with joy, connection, and hope.

The I Belong Project™ exists to help children in foster care find permanency, connection, and belonging. These filming days are about more than capturing photos and videos—they are about creating moments where kids get to simply be kids. Moments where they are celebrated. Moments where their voices matter.

What is a Foster Friendly® Community?

A Foster Friendly Community is a place where businesses, faith communities, civic leaders, and everyday neighbors work together to support foster families and children in care. Instead of families navigating the challenges of caring for vulnerable children on their own, they are surrounded by practical support, encouragement, and meaningful resources.

A Day of Belonging at the Nashville Zoo

The I Belong Project™ exists to help kids in foster care find permanency, connection, and belonging. Days like this don’t just produce beautiful photos and videos - they create memories, inspire hope, and invite families across Tennessee to say “yes” to foster care and adoption.
