Collin VA01315566

“Support means having someone there when you need it…to talk to…to defend you.”

Collin is a caring, energetic, youth who enjoys watching and playing football. One of his greatest wishes for his high school experience is to play on the high school football team. Collin takes pride in his appearance, and enjoys dressing well and shopping for new items. Collin loves dogs, and hopes for a home that includes a pup-sibling. He is interested in mechanics and learning more about cars and RV’s as something he can turn into a career one day. Collin hopes to have the opportunity to work a part-time job while in high school, helping him learn important life skills and gain independence.

Collin wants a prospective family to know that he likes having time to himself, and hopes to have “me time” outside of the home. Collin craves independence and says that he’s willing to earn a family’s trust to enjoy freedom’s that “typical” teenagers get to enjoy. Collin is learning to play basketball with his mentor and hopes to continue to have him in his life. Collin enjoys one-on-one attention from adults and an ideal day for him would be to spend one-on-one time with a trusted, caring, and interested adult who will interact and play with him. Could you be the family to show Collin the trust and support that will help him thrive?
