A Perfect Match: The I Belong Project™ at GEODIS Park

Earlier this year, Tennessee Kids Belong had the incredible opportunity to host an I Belong Project™ video shoot at GEODIS Park, home of the Nashville Soccer Cluband what a day it was! From the moment the kids arrived, they were welcomed like VIPs, surrounded by encouragement, laughter, and community.

The day kicked off with games, crafts, and creativity. Thanks to our friends at Magpies, kids were able to customize bags and hats with patches to showcase their personalities and interests. Each child created one-of-a-kind keepsakes from a one-of-a-kind day! Students from Paul Mitchell The School Nashville brought a full glam squad to style hair and pamper kids and social workers, while Therapy ARC pups joined to fun, bringing smiles and calm energy to the room.

The kids headed down to the field for an unforgettable experience – meeting Nashville SC players, kicking the ball around, and getting a behind-the-scenes tour of the locker rooms, fielding questions in the press room, and more!

We were also joined by Hillary Scott from Lady A, who volunteered her time to play with the kids, lend her voice during interviews, and share her warmth and kindness throughout the day. Her genuine care made the experience even more meaningful for everyone involved.

The day includes a professional photo and video shoot allowing youth to share their stories and showcase their personalities. The resulting profiles serve as powerful tools in connecting kids with permanent, adoptive families.
