Nashville Predators Advocate for Children in Foster Care to Find Their Forever Families!
Bridgestone Arena
We are thrilled to introduce you to the incredible kids we filmed at a recent I Belong Project™ video shoot in partnership with the Nashville Predators. The day was packed with fun, adventure, and heartwarming connection – all centered around kids in foster care seeking adoptive, forever families.
Each child received VIP treatment the moment they arrived at Bridgestone Arena. They enjoyed time on the ice, ate lunch with Preds players, exchanged high fives with everyone’s favorite saber-toothed mascot, Gnash, and soaked in every second of the spotlight. It was more than just a fun experience—it was a powerful reminder to each child that they are seen, valued, and worthy of belonging.
Every I Belong Project™ shoot is designed to do one thing: give a face and voice to children in foster care who are legally free for adoption. By capturing their personalities on camera, we hope to connect these amazing kids with forever families. And this day with the Nashville Predators took that mission to the next level.
But we need you to help make their voices echo even louder.
Here’s how you can help:
🔹 WATCH the videos. Meet these brave kids as they share a little bit of who they are and what they hope for in a family.
🔹 SHARE their videos with your friends, your faith community, your social media network, and anyone who might feel a tug on their heart to foster or adopt.
🔹 START your foster/adoptive journey. We are here to answer questions and provide support at each phase of your journey.
Together, we can change the story for kids in foster care across Tennessee. Whether or not you’re in a position to foster or adopt, your willingness to amplify these stories makes a real difference.

Every child deserves a place to belong! We all have a role to play in helping every child in our state find their place to call home.

There are currently over 450 kids in Tennessee waiting for a family to adopt them through foster care. If you would like to learn more this process or become a licensed foster / adoptive parent, you can do so by visiting the link below or by reaching out to one of our team members to learn more.
You do not have to walk this journey alone. You have a community ready to wrap around and support you along the way!

Fostering to adopt is something I’d consider in the next couple of years but I would like to learn more. I’ve read on the state sight most kids are adopted by a foster family. If we didn’t want to have kids in and out and want to adopt say one of the kids you post about that need forever homes, how does that work? Do you technically foster them first for awhile and make sure they are happy and all before adoption process? Just curious what that would look like and how it works. It seems like there are plenty of children that are in permanent custody that need forever homes?
