“The best animal in the world is a dog, because dogs are so cute and they make funny– and they make the faces when they want food. It’s just so cute.”
Zhane has never met a stranger in his whole life! He loves attention and talking to people and he’ll happily meet and greet everyone around. Some of his favorite things are LEGOs, Paw Patrol, and superheroes – but none of that compares to his very favorite thing, which is being outside! Give him an afternoon at the park or the Boys & Girls Club, and he is one happy dude. But, if he’s going to be inside, be prepared for him to start building a LEGO Spider-Man, or asking if he can relax to “Chase is on the Case” videos!
Zhane would do well in either a one-parent or two-parent home without other children. If there are other children in the home, they need to be older by a few years so he gets lots of attention and support. It would benefit Zhane to have a strong male role model that he can look up to. He will thrive in a home full of love and patience, with parents who make education a priority. Zhane needs a home with a consistent routine and structure, and parents who have a calm and affirming parenting style. Parents need to be willing to take on any therapeutic needs he may have in the future. Interested families should understand the impact that trauma can have on children.
