Each day we’ll share a video from the I Belong Project® on our social media channels to amplify the voices of kids who are waiting to be adopted in Tennessee. ADOPT FROM FOSTER CARE
If you are considering adoption, we encourage you to become a foster parent. 80% of kids adopted from foster care are done so by the families who already are, and have been, their foster parents. While we are not a licensing or child-placement agency, we walk alongside the individuals and couples doing this critical work. To start, we recommend that you:
- Review the requirements of foster parents in TN (visit our fostering page)
- Explore our blog posts and FAQs for up to date information
- Attend our upcoming Virtual Q&A Panel to get all your questions answered

Through the I Belong Project®, children and youth in foster care who are legally free for adoption have the opportunity to share their personalities, interests, hopes, and dreams in their own voices. You may not be the family who adopts a child you meet here. But you might be the person who shares their video with someone who is.
