NOVEMBER IS ADOPTION AWARENESS MONTH

Tennessee Kids Belong works to dramatically improve the experiences and outcomes for kids in foster care. Throughout November we focus our attention on youth in need of permanent, adoptive families.

Each day we’ll share a video from the I Belong Project® on our social media channels to amplify the voices of kids who are waiting to be adopted in Tennessee. ADOPT FROM FOSTER CARE

If you are considering adoption, we encourage you to become a foster parent. 80% of kids adopted from foster care are done so by the families who already are, and have been, their foster parents. While we are not a licensing or child-placement agency, we walk alongside the individuals and couples doing this critical work. To start, we recommend that you:

Each November, during National Adoption Awareness Month, we shine a special spotlight on the I Belong Project™ — our signature storytelling initiative that gives kids in foster care who are legally free for adoption the chance to share their voices, hopes, and dreams.
