Marlette has a great sense of humor. He enjoys telling jokes and making people laugh. Marlette is very intelligent and is street smart. Marlette describes himself as a people person and enjoys hanging out with both peers and other adults. He has great individual and group social skills. Marlette is great at communicating and talking with trusted adults. He is resilient, funny, a good friend and able to lighten the mood. He is kind to his friends. He strives to meet expectations and genuinely loves hearing that he is making good choices and progressing. Marlette likes soccer and has most recently talked about being a professional soccer player. Marlette likes sports or any outdoor activity. He also likes Disney movies and enjoys watching Luca. Marlette likes McDonalds, Chic Fil A and comfort food (macaroni and cheese and oatmeal). Marlette also enjoys rap music and has expressed interest in being a rapper.
Marlette likes animals and he wants a family that has pets. He has always wanted to have a dog. Marlette enjoys playing video games and playing basketball as well. He enjoys going to school and his favorite subject in school is English. He enjoys trips to the library to check out books. He enjoys trips to the park to run around and play with his friends. He wants a family who is active that will take him to places like Sky Zone, Dave & Buster’s, and Main Event to enjoy family time. He wants to try having family game nights, family vacations, or family traditions because he knows they will be fun.
He’s excited to try so many new things with his future adopted family. He does not mind being in the country or the city because he likes them both. Marlette does well with a mix of extracurricular activities and down time. Marlette also likes to read and listen to music to help relax before bed. Marlette is ready to be a part of a loving family. Marlette gives the best hugs that will remind you of hugging a teddy bear. When he’s happy or excited he has the biggest and the brightest smile. He wants to be adopted and make good connections with adults who are willing to stick around. Marlette is so excited about what his future family looks like. Marlette has a lot going for him; the only thing he needs is a permanent family.
