Damien is a fun, loving young man, who loves being active. He loves playing basketball, or really any sport, and he has a great throwing arm. He would love the opportunity to try baseball, as he has been identified as possibly having potential on the field. He has never had the opportunity to play team sports, but wants to. He likes playing video games and watching YouTube as well. He loves animals and is a great help around the house.
Damien has a positive attitude and perseveres in the most challenging of situations. He is able to communicate and express his wants and needs in an appropriate manner and he makes friends easily. He likes playing with other children but would love to be an only child or at least the only boy in the home, if possible. He would also do well with younger siblings. He would thrive in an environment where he can have consistent routines and follow through, although he is very flexible. He is used to a busy schedule. He also likes to work toward short-term goals and rewards. He likes positive reinforcement and being included in things such as family projects and chores. He would like to learn a trade or skill that he can earn some money, if possible. He has a close connection to his older sister and it would be beneficial to them both for him to be able to maintain contact and visits with her.
