“I want people to know that I’m a loving caring person. I’m a clean person too. And, I’m easy to get along with.”

Ty is a 14 year old young man who is empathetic, smart, athletic and likes to build relationships with peers. He loves playing football, basketball, baseball and running track. Being outdoors makes Ty happy, and he especially likes to fish and hunt. He also is quite good at video games. Ty describes himself as a hard worker and a good person.

Although shy at first, he is talkative when he feels comfortable. He said his friends would say “I’m a cool person, chill, I like sports, I stick to my word and I’m always there for them. I’m always nice to them.” As a youth who is working on overcoming trauma, he is trying his best to build trusting relationships with peers and adults and building healthy coping skills to help with his day-to-day interactions with others. Ty seems to be open and vulnerable with others when there is a level of trust established. He values honesty, respect, and dependability in relationships and enjoys meditating, writing in his journal, working out, and listening to music in order to stay grounded.

Ty would benefit from a loving home, one that can create an environment of openness, honesty, and healthy boundaries. Ty’s biggest wish is to be a part of a family who is always there for each other and where he can express himself. He simply wants for a good and normal life. He’d like to go to college and have a family of his own down the road. Could you be the support this kindhearted young man needs to help him reach the future he wants?
