Meet one-year-old TaRaena or as her foster parents sometimes call her “Rae”. TaRaena is a happy and social toddler. She is a fighter and has been working hard to overcome many challenges. She gets lots of tummy time to make her body stronger. She has equipment she uses to help her become stronger. She can roll, grab for toys and is cooing. TaRaena is eating baby food and table food and does well with both. Rae loves attention and will coo and make noise to try to engage with the people around her. When she is played with, she will let out the cutest little belly giggles. She enjoys the other children in the home and at the day care she is attending.
TaRaena is eligible for Tribal membership. Currently, ICWA placement preference does apply so we are looking for a family with at least 1 parent having tribal enrollment or a family who can keep her close to her current therapy providers. She would also fit best with a family who has experience with children with high needs.
