Meet Shawn “Junior”, Shaxton, Kenny, and Keith!

Shawn, who goes by Junior, is 11 years old and is in the 5th grade. He enjoys building Legos, playing outside, games and hanging out with his friends. He is artistic and recently made a wooden music box. Junior enjoys collecting Pokémon cards. Junior does well in school and enjoys reading. He says about himself that he “tries his best” in everything he does and has made a lot of progress in safely expressing his emotions. He has a big heart and wants to make others happy. He is an easy kid to have a conversation with and is very insightful. Junior would do well being a part of a common interest group or a team. He desires friendships and connections. Junior is very bonded with his siblings and has a strong relationship with them. Junior would do best in a two parent household with a strong father figure along with his siblings.

Shaxton is a 9 year old boy who is in the 3rd grade. He is a sweet, quiet boy who desires a family to love him and his brothers. Shaxton loves to build Legos, play video games, go swimming, fish and really enjoys reading. He enjoys talking about the books he is reading, and his current favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Shaxton is a good student and is responsible. He enjoys trying new things and recently went kayaking for the first time and really liked it. Shaxton would like to take Hunter Safety when he is old enough and learn how to hunt. He enjoys being outside and exploring. Shaxton would do best in a home with his three brothers. He has a very strong sibling connection with his brothers and they mean a lot to each other. He does well with routine and structure. Shaxton would do well in a family who enjoys being active.

Kenny is a 7 year old boy who is in the 2nd grade. Kenny is very smart and does well in the classroom. He attends after school care and enjoys being around his peers. Kenny is a quiet boy but opens up once he gets comfortable. Kenny played soccer this season and really enjoyed it. He would do well being on sports teams in the future, and have the opportunity to be active. He is happy outside and loves to explore. Kenny is not a picky eater but his favorite food is pizza. He enjoys animals, and recently went to a farm and enjoyed climbing trees and being around the animals. Kenny would do well in a home with his brothers. He does well with structure, routine and unconditional love. He is very bonded with his siblings and they have a very close relationship.

Keith is a 6 year old boy and is in the 1st grade. He does well in the classroom. Keith attends after school care and enjoys playing with his peers. He does not like to be the last one picked up at the end of the day. Keith is good at talking through his emotions and has done well working with his counselor. Keith played soccer this summer and fall and really enjoyed it. He would like to continue to try more sports as he gets older. Keith enjoys putting together Legos, playing outside, imaginative play and games. He would do well in a home with his brothers. He wants a family to offer him love and be kind. Keith and his siblings have a very strong sibling connection and are very bonded. Keith does well with structure and routine. He would do well with an active family who enjoys being adventurous.
