Meet Shabraun & Shaybreona
Shabraun and Shaybreona can often be found playing outside, riding their bikes, and enthusiastically hunting for more rocks to add to their collection. Social butterflies, Shabraun and Shaybreona, enjoy being around other people and love to hang out with their friends.
Shabruan is a smart and independent young boy with plans to become a “professional rock collector” in the future. His favorite subject in school is language arts, where he enjoys using his imagination to write stories. At school, Shabraun received awards for his grades at the end of the school year; he takes great pride in this achievement and in how hard he worked. Shabraun has made important gains in learning how to manage his emotions and behavior and in how to understand and communicate his needs. He continues to practice and develop his coping skills when faced with an upsetting situation. Most often, Shabraun is a joy to be around and can be very compassionate and caring toward his peers and foster family.
Shaybreona is a ball of energy and thrives on being active and spending time with others. When she’s ready for a rest she loves to sit down and read a book. Shaybreona loves to laugh and is always in the mood to hear a good joke. She makes friends easily as she is a great listener and observer, but sometimes she needs a gentle reminder to speak in a respectful tone of voice. Academically, Shaybreona does very well and she reports that she loves all of her classes! She’s very proud of how hard she works in school and shehas ambitions of becoming a teacher one day.
Shabraun and Shaybreona would benefit from a nurturing two-parent family that could offer them structure, consistency, and encouragement. An active family that could help them further explore their interests would be a great fit. Shabraun and Shaybreona would prefer a family that has pets and loves them as much as they do!
