Richard 9128

“I’m kind of excited to see what kind of classes I have. I like science at school.”

Richard is a resilient, adaptable guy who loves his family and friends! When given time to adjust to new situations he always does well; he’s open to new opportunities and getting to try new things (well, except the dentist – he does not like those opportunities at all!). He’s making great strides at school and works hard every day to do better than he did the day before! Richard likes to show affection to those he cares about and enjoys making sure they’re happy. He likes building things so you can often find him putting together cool designs with his Legos!

Richard would do well in either a one-parent or two-parent home and does well with other children so would love brothers or sisters. He thrives when given a consistent schedule and routine; consistency is important as it helps Richard to know what to expect day to day. He loves animals and hopes for a forever home that comes with pets. Parents should be willing to advocate for Richard’s educational needs so that he can continue to thrive in the classroom. Interested families should understand the impact trauma can have on children.
