“What I want is a family who would accept me for who I really am.”
This creative young lady has aspirations of becoming a famous writer, and may just be the next bestselling author! She excels in writing and reading, although her favorite subjects are math and history. Bright and outgoing, in the classroom Miley springs into action to aid peers who need some extra help.
Aside from enjoying learning about historical events, Miley has a ton of other interests! She’s a big fan of animals, and will take care of any she finds. She’d love to have pets of her own – maybe a horse or even a wolf pack!
She enjoys video games like Minecraft, and likes to spend some of her free time building out fantastical worlds. This country girl also loves to sing and dance, so she might change her ambitions to being a professional singer instead! Recently, Miley discovered her green thumb and has really been enjoying gardening. If she could have any food she would pick chocolate ice cream, but says she would pass if offered broccoli.
Miley would thrive in a either a one- or two-parent family with strong parents who can help set firm but loving expectations and boundaries. As she adjusts to a new home, she’ll need structure and consistency; her family should be patient and committed to her during the rough moments. Miley does well with older children, but would do best as an only child so she receives all the attention and support she needs. Families who make education a priority are ideal; adoptive parents will need to take on any medical or therapeutic needs she may have in the future. Interested families should understand the impact that trauma can have on a child.
