“My goal is to go to Ball State or Harvard. I’ve got some big goals, guys.“
Mercedes is a hard worker with big plans for the future! She’s dedicated to her school work and making sure she’s doing the best she can there – once she graduates high school, she’s excited for college! She likes her math classes the most, because there’s a consistency to numbers she enjoys. Mercedes is an excellent chef and likes to learn new recipes to try out for loved ones! She’s helped manage some of the school sports teams and has been having a blast – she’s does a ton of different activities and this one is definitely the favorite.
Mercedes would do well in either a one- or two-parent home and would love a forever family that came with brothers or sisters. She hopes for at least one female role model she can look up to and who can help her navigate her teenage years. She will thrive in a home with parents who make communication a priority and who ensure her needs are met. She prefers a home with set rules and structure that don’t change day to day. Interested families should understand the impact that trauma can have on children.
