“And one thing I like to hope to do is– for a family someday is– go on a family vacation. I always wanted to do family photos.”
Mahogany is one of a kind! She’s confident and charismatic, makes friends easily, and has big plans for her future. She works hard in school, especially in science – she’s decided that she’s going to go to college and become a chemist! Mahogany works just as hard on the field and court as she does in the classroom – and she’s never found a sport she doesn’t like. (But, her favorites are probably soccer or basketball.)
This considerate and loving young lady cherishes her friendships, and is very loyal; her friend group is tight-knit, and they’d do anything for each other. Support and connection are very important to Mahogany, and she especially wants a forever family to be part of her support network.
Because she’s such a people person, Mahogany is always up for activities and adventures where she can meet new friends. If those adventures involve cooking, painting, or some other creative endeavor, that’s even better! There’s a whole lot of world out there, and she wants to see it all!
The home that would be best for Mahogany would be a two-parent, African-American family that can provide stability, unconditional love, and affection. Mahogany is a very bright girl who very much wants to find a forever home. Parents will need to be consistent in their expectations, and be able to set and maintain boundaries. At the same time, they should be calm and nurturing, and enjoy doing activities as a family. If there are other children in the home, it would be best if they were older.
