Come Celebrate The Wa-Nee Foster Friendly Community Launch
Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024
1-4 p.m.
Northwood High School Athletic Center
What To Expect
Join us as we celebrate being part of a community who is saying “Yes” to standing in the gap for some of Indiana’s most vulnerable kids.
- Mayoral Proclamation: Mayor Phil Jenkins will sign a Foster Friendly Community Proclamation
- Family Fun: We’ll have games and activities for the whole family
- Networking Opportunities: Learn from and connect with foster parents, DCS, and community business and faith leaders.
This gathering is for everyone involved in or interested in foster care in our community — child welfare professionals, agencies, current foster parents, prospective foster parents, and Foster Friendly businesses and faith community partners.
Let’s come together to support and strengthen our foster care system and celebrate those who make it possible. You’ll gain valuable knowledge and inspiration from experts in the field and discover how you can make a difference in the lives of children and teens in foster care.
Come And Join Us In This Great Work To Build Quality of Life in Wa-Nee For Everyone
Don’t miss out on this impactful community event, and learn how you can help to support kids and families from hard places! And come hungry as appetizers, desserts, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
