MEETING THE NEEDS OF LOUISIANA CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE
I Belong Project™
One of America’s Kids Belong’s signature programs is the I Belong Project™, which uses high quality videography to give children in foster care a face and a voice. These videos serve as individual recruitment tools for foster children who are legally-free for adoption and are waiting for their forever family. We are proud to have created individualized videos for Louisiana children who are legally free for adoption and waiting for their forever family.
America’s Kids Belong partners on the I Belong Project™ videos with Unite Ministries led by the Founders Tony and Melanie Streetman. Special thanks to Empower225 (formerly HPServe).
Thank You Robertsons
We are thrilled and grateful to Korie and Willie Robertson advocating with America’s Kids Belong in Louisiana for children in foster care! Take a minute to watch the video below and hear their personal story of fostering and adopting.
On top of this, we cannot sufficiently thank Korie Robertson for all of her help in interviewing with AKB and the I Belong Project giving these wonderful Louisiana kids a voice!
Just as these kids cannot go it alone, we recognize that the solution itself takes a committed team effort. We proudly partner in this initiative with the Louisiana DCFS, HP Serve, and the Louisiana Heart Gallery.
Together we can give every child a face and a voice. Together we can show each child that they are precious, seen, and worthy of belonging.
