Braves To Host Foster Family Fridays

Striders Welcome Foster Families

Atlanta Braves’ Spencer Strider and his wife Maggie, with the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Braves Foundation will host “Foster Family Fridays” for the Braves 14 home games beginning with the April 26 home game against the Cleveland Guardians. The initiative is the latest in the couple’s ongoing care for children and families involved in foster care.

“Spencer and I believe in family and every child having the opportunity to grow up fostered in love and security. Supporting the foster families of Georgia has thus become a place of heart connection for us – a place where we hope to make a positive impact for years to come,” Maggie Strider said.

Meet the Kids

Nearly one-quarter of kids in foster care are legally free for adoption.
Our I Belong Project is a video storytelling initiative that gives kids a face and a voice and helps connect many of them with loving, forever families.

Whether you’re just beginning your journey to foster, a seasoned foster parent considering adoption or simply someone with a heart for vulnerable kids, we invite you to meet, listen to and see some of the amazing kids right here in our community in need of adoptive families.
